The first step is to open Welcome To LaborSoft and click Login. In the Search LaborSoft field, enter the employee’s full name, ID number or the full case number and Press Enter. Click on the results shown. In this case, it is the employee name.. Here, we see there are no cases listed under the Case History Section. So we’ll need to create a new incident for the employee. Scroll up and click Create New Incident. Click the dropdown to enter the earliest date we can associate with this particular case. In this case it is 4/8/2019. Click highlight. Incident Date Submitted should be the date the cases is being entered into LS, Today.. Incident Status should be OPEN. At this time, do not select an Incident Outcome. To link an employee to the case we’ve created, Click Enter a search value: Enter ID, Full Name or Last name of participant.. Type Enter a search value: Here we will use employee ID. Click Search. Confirm the search produced the applicable employee and Check the box to indicated the employee you would like to add. Click Add Selected. Scroll down and click Add Case. The case is now created and sequentially assigned a case number. To add more information: Click Edit Case. The case will become editable. Click Incident Summary. Click type case notes for all interactions with case – in summary. . Click Update Case to save. Now we move to Case Steps Scroll and click Leave Requested (We know this is a spelling error-Sorry!).
